After playing high school and college sports the years of sports took a toll on my body. One summer, while playing softball, I injured my back. I took the ‘traditional’ route of seeing my medical doctor and was told to take muscle relaxants and pain pills for a week. After no relief, I was told to continue the regimen for another week. I thought that there must be a better way; a way I could take care of my problem, not just the symptoms of my problem.

I then went to a Doctor of Chiropractic and that night I was free from pain and ready to play more softball! It was then that I decided to become a chiropractor and focused later on in my career on sports injuries.
